Step into the engine workshop of tomorrow.
Welcome to a place where I bring together my fascinations for technology, innovation, and art in one sensory experience. The Enterprise, draws inspiration from the hyper-car, the digital era, and space exploration, and demonstrates my fondness for the custom-made through a unique and home-grown aesthetic. Partly inspired by Engine workshops ranging from mom-and-pop shops to industry giants, my sculptures pay homage to the artistry of those and the ‘hands-on-futurism’ of before the digital age.
I've combined my fascination for custom-made machinery with cutting-edge technology to create an immersive experience like no other. The entire series is a fusion of sculpture, digital drawings and laser projects and 3D imagery, brought to life by the electronic soundscapes I compose.
This series started in 2017, and is ongoing, it reflects my evolution as an artist. I moved from the purely analogue to the increasingly hybridized. Now integrating found-items, electronic music and digital technology to engender an immersive, comprehensive evocation of the concepts of my work. The Enterprise is an ever-evolving journey, an exploration of the machinery and technology of tomorrow.
