The 'Wall of Sound' is a monstrous, ever-expanding monolith of speakers and amplifiers, all connected and pulsing with a terrifying energy. Four amplifiers feed this behemoth, pushing out soundtracks I've composed specifically to bring my sculptures to life. But be warned, these aren't just any ordinary soundtracks - they're crafted from the eerie, otherworldly sounds I've recorded myself. Enter if you dare, but be prepared to have your senses assaulted.
A soundtrack for sculpture
Music is the lifeblood of my creative process. It's a force that propels me forward, a driving heartbeat that pounds in my ears like the relentless rhythms of house and techno. And it's that pulse that gives birth to the monstrous creation known as 'The Wall of Sound'.
Conceived from the ruins of forgotten electronics and a bottomless pit of a budget, this towering colossus started as a humble assembly of scavenged speakers and amplifiers. But over time, it grew into something far more sinister, an invaluable musical collaborator that transforms my art from the purely visual into something that blasts all the senses. Each piece carefully selected, each speaker and amp fine-tuned to perfection, it's an ever-growing monster of sound, born from my need for something louder, something more powerful.
